On the back of her right hip is a paw-shaped birthmark she was born with, which she tends to hide or disguise to lower suspicion.[ BACKSTORY ] In 771 CE, Meimao was born as a cat demon to two unknown parents, but raised by a kind immortal for 19 years of her life. Unaware of her true identity, she'd live a peaceful life with her adoptive father until a chance encounter leads her to aggravating the prince of the demon realm. Although their meeting starts off rocky, the two of them become fast buddies and eventual lovers. Unfortunately, their time together is cut short through misunderstandings and the complications between the mortal, heaven, and demon realms. Meimao is forced to take his life by her adoptive father, but shortly after avenges him, taking out all that wronged the two of them.For the following 1224 years, Meimao would live a quiet, lazy life in repent for her shames, hidden amongst different identities. She waited, hoping to one day reunite with the prince. It wasn't until 2020 that she returned to a public image again, starting a modeling career under her original name for entertainment. Now at the top of her career, Meimao enjoys the luxuries and the fame, but her past still nags at the back of her mind.
